HUMANITARIAN GROUP TO HELP PREVENT FURTHER OUTBREAK OF CORONA VIRUS IN WUHAN CHINA.
Gladtidings projects in partnership with the Nigerian Chinatown will hold a charity exercise on Thursday, 20th of February 2020. The exercise which is a humanitarian service is aimed at giving aids to prevent further outbreak of the deadly corona virus in Wuhan for the support and survival of lives in China.
The novel corona virus which has not been previously identified in human is a public health emergency of international concern killing more than 1,600 people and infecting more than 69,000 worldwide. The symptoms of this virus which includes fever, cough, running nose, sore throat and trouble breathing can be prevented through constant hand-washing, covering the entire mouth and nose with nose mask and avoidance of direct contact with infected persons.
Therefore, to help reduce the widespread of this epidemic, Gladtidings Project in collaboration with Nigerian Chinatown will be donating items such as Hand-gloves, Nose-masks, Safety eye-glasses, Nylon raincoats, pop socks/ long socks, Shower caps and Overalls as an extension of their philanthropic gestures towards humanity.
Gladtidings Project is a group of concerned Muslim Nigerian Youth registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) under part B of CAMA, hoping to upgrade to the part C in the nearest future. In pursuance of their objectives, Gladtidings Projects has been conducting monthly visitations to Hospitals,Prisons, Blood Donation Bank and Orphanage homes within and outside Nigeria to spend beautiful moments by way of sharing gifts and showing love.
